Are you a Sales pro who’s ready to do well by doing good?
Then you belong in the kitchen with Miyoko. Because this veteran entrepreneur has cooked up something remarkable.
Miyoko Shinner is Founder & CEO of Miyoko’s Kitchen, the rocketship food company that makes the market-leading & award-winning line of vegan cheese products.
In case you haven’t been paying attention, the plant-based food category has exploded in the past 3 years. And Miyoko is one of its pioneers.
And now Miyoko’s Kitchen, based in Petaluma California, is recruiting a remarkable SVP Sales to partner with her. (You can be based anywhere near a major airport.)
She’s out to do nothing less than revolutionize the dairy industry. You can learn about the company at Miyokos.com
And these products aren’t just for vegans & flexitarians. 60% of U.S. adults now purchase plant-based foods. They’re healthier, friendlier to the environment & animals, and the majority of people actually prefer the taste.
It’s the perfect recipe for growth.
Miyoko’s Kitchen products include vegan cheese, butter, and cream cheese (with a refrigerator full of other things coming.) And this is super-premium, top of the category, so there is no compromising on ingredients or quality. This isn’t Frankenfoods – it’s artisanal, clean ingredients that you can pronounce.
The company doubled in size during 2018 and is on track to double again in 2019. Retailers can barely get enough of it for their shelves – it’s already sold in Publix, Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Kroger, Raley’s, Andronico’s, to name a few.
As you can imagine, keeping up with a hypergrowth business is no small feat. So, the company has attracted great venture investors including Ev Williams, the co-founder of Twitter. And built a great team of 80 passionate people.
Now, we’re ready for you…
The SVP Sales will report directly to the CEO and “own” the revenue number, including building the strategy to continue our delicious execution.
This will entail developing the company’s channel strategy, including grocery, clubs, brokers, foodservice, international – based on data & market trends.
From there, you’ll create account-specific strategies for our top accounts including product assortment, merchandising, and sell-thru plans. You’ll get to the know the buyers & senior executives at our key retailers.
Of course, you’ll lead our (small but high-impact) sales organization. Together, you’ll provide market feedback into the company’s product roadmap.
And you’ll work with our venture capital firms, lenders, and board members. This is a high-visibility role.
In short, the SVP Sales will play a crucial role in a world-changing company.
We don’t even care if you’re vegan – many of us aren’t. But we’re passionate about improving health, earth, and animals one piece of cheese at a time.
Ready to get into the Kitchen? And taste the sweetness of rapid growth.
Then, let’s have a conversation… confidential, of course.
