Going Coastal

We are now seeking two candidates to serve as Director of Salesforce Development: one for the Northeast U.S. and one for the San Francisco Bay Area & Silicon Valley. The right people for this opportunity will demonstrate a keen understanding of how high-performance sales organizations work, and have the relationship-building skills to develop a roster of clients who need the kind of candidates only we can deliver.

You'll be swimming at C-Level.

In both territories, we are aiming high. Our East Coast territory includes Manhattan, Westchester County, Connecticut and New Jersey. Representing Strong Suit to a C-Level audience, your targets will also include Private Equity and Venture Capital firms who invest in rapidly-growing companies. The West Coast market will include financial as well as technology and information services companies. You'll be expected to identify and prioritize client leads, qualify prospects and evaluate their fit with our model. What do you need to succeed? Good research skills: the ability to tap into the right events, ask the right questions and leverage relationships. Great writing skills: demonstrate your ability to develop a value proposition that aligns with your prospect's business. Great presence: ability to sell an intangible service to C-Level management with confidence.

Getting down to work.

The goal of the Director of Salesforce Development is to sign the deal. Strong Suit's leadership team provides support with our CRM technology, and online tools to facilitate your research. We'll expect you to track significant achievements and events within Strong Suit's focus industries, arrange meetings and attend Kickoff meetings for new clients.

The right DNA.

Strong Suit is known for its ability to create value for clients by helping them build effective sales organizations, our detail orientation, and our entrepreneurial culture. To fit in, you'll need the bandwidth to identify and manage a large number of prospective clients, have at least four new engagements in the works each month and get up to speed quickly on your target industries.
